In the book ‘Barbaranalogica’ photographer Barbara van Ittersum brings to light a world we are not so familiar with. She introduces us to the Barbarizsm; a visual language, oozing femininity. This language is not only used by women, but also understood, felt and even embodied by men. With her Barbarizsm, Barbara addresses various topics such as religion, sexuality, nature, culture clashes, deprivation of freedom and identity.<\/p>\n
